The iPhone X (or 10) has been plagued with issues since its release. There have been issues with autocorrect changing the letter “I” to some strange characters. The screen has been showing unresponsiveness in cold weather. Now, we are hearing reports that there are more issues with the iPhone screen. This is troubling for consumers. Apple has been manufacturing reliable mobile phones for years and this is certainly a stain on the company’s reputation.
I was considering purchasing the new iPhone X around December, but now I am wondering if I should make that purchase. I think Apple will do what they can to resolve software issues by pushing out adequate updates, but if there are actual hardware issues, then I am not interested in spending that kind of money just to have a phone replaced later, if I can even prove that it was a quality issue to begin with. At this time, I am leaning towards not getting a new phone before next year.
